Will these help prevent scratches on floorboards?
Yes. Stolsben is designed to place a felt barrier between the chair leg and hard flooring, helping reduce scratches, scuffs and drag marks from everyday chair movement.
What floors are they suitable for?
They are made for hard floors including timber, laminate, hybrid, vinyl and tile. Keep the felt clean so dust or grit does not sit between the glide and the floor.
How do I choose the right size?
Use a ruler or tape measure to measure across the bottom of your furniture leg at its widest point.
Measure the diameter inmillimetres (mm)orcentimetres (cm), then choose the size that matches closest.
Small:14–19 mm / 1.4–1.9 cm
Medium:20–25.4 mm / 2.0–2.54 cm
Large:26–32 mm / 2.6–3.2 cm
For the best fit, measure one or two legs before selecting your size, as some furniture legs may vary slightly.
Why are these better than sticky felt pads?
Sticky pads can peel away, move off centre, collect grime or leave residue. Stolsben uses a slip on sleeve with an integrated felt base, so there is no adhesive pad sitting exposed under the chair.
